Three P's
Saturday 18 Nov 2006
We awake at 730, tried for the sunrise, missed it by just a little bit. We head to breakfast for my obligatory 6 "cups o' tea". We enjoy sipping tea on the beach while eating a leisurely breeakfast, and are both decompressing and relaxing so well we decide at that moment to stay another 6 days!!!!! Eleven days on the beach!!! Yeah!!! Rebecca goes immediately after our mutual decision to secure the room for the duration. We figure so many places are full, we are a mere 50 ft off the beach, unlimited tea, two hour breakfast in paradise must be trying to tell us something. Besides, how much better than this can it get?
Rebecca has really turned into a bronzed sun goddess, worshiping the sund and beach and sea. Me too, but not with quite the same results. You see no matter how old I am, nor my obvious propensity of british genes, I fancy myself a greek adonis.....YEAH RIGHT!!!!!! For example while Rebecca has progrress from WHITE to RED to MOCHA to a nice brown..........I have progressed throught "THE THREE P's". PALE, PINK (much like a cooked lobster) PEEL! Damn Brit gene's..... Instead of time to burn like all the twenty somethings we see all over, I have skin to burn.....my shoulder, my nose, my forehead (theres lots of that as you all know) my arms, and even my legs (chicken legs yes but you would think at least those would get SOME COLOR.....NOT!!!! I keep getting lured into the assumption that I can at least keep up with Rebecca in some aspect of beach and water, deluded??? YES! Some might even say suffering from delusions of graduer. I my self blame it on all that DAMN caffinee each morning and the blasted sun!!! Yes I am that crazy guy everyone wonders about, you know the guy. The one wearing the t-shirt on the beach, in the ocean, in the swimming pool. You think I would learn not to try and compete.............BUT NO! For now I seem to have at least learned my color progression, quaintly named the 3 P's. PALE,PINK, PEEL.
