Saturday 04 Nov 06 Evening Loi Krathong Festival

After dinner at the Riverside the ladies purchased our Loi Krathong's as we walked back to our guesthouse. All of a sudden this crazy parade appeared from nowhere. Well it was at least a surprise from no where for me. You all know how clueless I can be sometimes.......well within the parade was a group of "lady-boys" all dressed up in some fabulous costumes. The "lady-boy" in green posed especially for me to take a picture. Not once but twice (back to my sometimes clueless nature- darn camera with 7 flash options) just so I could get a good picture. Bless his heart, Thai people can really be so nice! Also had to get a picture of Rebecca drinking her first full Thai beer. Cheers beer, can't you just see how good tasting it is? I really miss Woodie's homebrew, I think I am officially addicted to it, it really is the only food stuff that I crave. Yes beer is a food isnt it?
